As you may have noticed I've been radio silent for quite a while. The short reason is... life happened. But I'm very excited to announce that on Sept. 29 they will be releasing here on deviant art four animated shorts exploring the world of The Last Witch Hunter, and it just so happens I'm one of the four! So follow the link below and keep your eyes open for the animated shorts. I've been working nonstop on mine for the last month or so and I'm really looking forward to finishing it up and getting it out there for you. Stay tuned!

I had the chance to create a fun animated video for WWE a couple months back in time for Wrestlemania. It was a fun whirlwind of a project chronicling the road to wrestlemania for WWE Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. You can see that here:

I'm going to be in New York from the 3rd of June till the 23rd! I'm very excited as it's my first time visiting. While I'm there I plan to try and make connections with fellow artists and find out how to get represented as an actor and an artist. If any of you fine folks have any advice on this let me know! I'm kind of flying blind. Also if there's any places there you like that you think I should visit, I'd love to hear about them!

I thought I'd also let you know that I now have an instagram. You can follow me croonstreet. At the moment I've been preoccupied with filling it up with some of my best work that's shown here on DA, but I plan on posting regularly there so if you want to keep up to date with my work, that's the place to do it!

Speaking of work I've been hard at it! The last couple months I've been in Portland animating on a job at Bent Image Lab. I've also been busy writing the score and doing the color and VFX for a horror short called The Infected (which I also acted in). It should be finished very soon so keep your eyes open for that.

Now back to grind!

I recently got the chance to collaborate with AbigailLarson and Alex Giannini in making an animated trailer for their new book Sarah Faire And The House At The End Of The World. It was a lot of fun to get to work with someone whom I've been a fan of for a while, and I'm very happy with how it all turned out.

Check out the trailer and buy the book! It's the perfect season to curl up and get lost in a spooky tale!

I know what you're all thinking. "Its October Austin! Where is 31 Days of Haunts?!" Well the truth is I'm not doing it this year. Last year's batch kinda ran me into the ground and was done in the midst of one of the worst times of my life. Needless to say it was all kind of ruined for me. So I'm sorry there won't be any new haunts this year, but a break is sorely needed. There are plenty of other cool things I'm working on right now (a collaboration with AbigailLarson) that you will soon be able to see. And there's always the last three years of 31 DOH you can revisit here on DA or at 31daysofhaunts.tumblr.com. Happy haunts everyone!

Hello fellow deviants!

I make art, as you may know. But I also do a lot of other stuff like act, direct, animate, compose music... the list goes on. So I ended up making a facebook page where people like yourself can go to keep updated on all the different things I'm doing. Click on the link below and give the page a like to be on the up and up. It's brand spanking new, but you can expect some cool things coming soon! Thanks!
