This is the trailer for Coup de Cinema, a feature film I recently made with my film making partner Sean Parker (aka ~Obfuscated-Noodle).

When a headstrong filmmaker gets a lowly job at the worst film production house in town, he leads a disillusioned film crew into hijacking their company's latest movie, filming a better version behind the back of their overbearing director.

Shot in Portland on a shoestring budget, Coup de Cinema is a moving and hilarious tale about dreams achieved by guerrilla tactics -- a heist comedy about the love of filmmaking.

The opening credits for Coup de Cinema won Best Title Sequence at the 2011 Action on Film Festival in Pasadena California. I got to go down and accept the award and meet a lot of cool people! We were all pretty stoked when we found out we won. Coup de Cinema also recently won Best Student Film Award at the 2011 Maverick Movie Makers Awards.

@01:48Wow. Just simply, Wow.
This film looks like it could be really promising. I mean, seriously, I you were able to box that up in a dvd set and get Walmart to sell it, I would probably be ready to buy it. Love the quality of the filming, and love the idea of hijacking a film. Also, I liked how you finish off the trailer, with the funny little snapshot of something, like you see in real film trailers sometimes. Please, tell me you're going to post this on dA or youtube at some point, because I would love to see it.
Nice work so far, dude!
