@02:11That's really great! I love the animation style, it's got a great character, you know, it's got great movement. I'd definitely like to see the rest of this film! :-)

This is the opening titles for Coup de Cinema, a feature film I did with Sean Parker (~Obfuscated-Noodle).

I made these opening titles with the help of Stephanie Woods (~StephWoods). She created everything you can see, while I took her drawn elements and animated them. She provided the visuals, and I provided the movement. It was a real joint effort and a lot of fun to make. The film will be touring various film festivals starting with the Action on Film Festival in Pasadena, CA in the end of July!

You can see the trailer for Coup de Cinema here:

When a headstrong filmmaker gets a lowly job at the worst film production house in town, he leads a disillusioned film crew into hijacking their company's latest movie, filming a better version behind the back of their overbearing director.

Shot in Portland on a shoestring budget, Coup de Cinema is a moving and hilarious tale about dreams achieved by guerrilla tactics -- a heist comedy about the love of filmmaking.

edit- These opening credits won Best Title Sequence at the 2011 Action on Film Festival in Pasadena California. I got to go down and accept the award and meet a lot of cool people! We were all pretty stoked when we found out we won. Coup de Cinema also recently won Best Student Film Award at the 2011 Maverick Movie Makers Awards.

This was such an interesting and amazing project to work on with :iconcroonstreet: and it has become something bigger than I imagined. What started out as some rough sketches in the beginning stages has turned into a colorful, fantastic and might I add professional looking animation piece. I'm so glad I got to be a part of this project and I hope to work on more films in the future!

Thanks again to everyone for your support and kind words, and I hope you all get to see the film!

@02:12WOW that was amazing, I can't believe you made that! You've got real talent, it's srsly like the stuff I expect to see in real movies! I hope I'm able to see the full movie when it's finished~ ^^ Is it gonna be an actual movie or just something you're working on with a friend?

@02:12It's an actual movie that I worked on with my friends. It's feature length and is currently looking for more festivals to screen in.
